The Ultimate Goth-Girl Cat Triana Portrait

Who can resist it?  This is a picture of new Goth Cat Triana (cf. February 10, 6, et al.) taken by a friend, Eve Schultes-Ridge, last Monday.  Triana is on her inherited high throne (in an earlier life, a carton for a refrigerator door gasket), relaxing with her favorite cat toy, a molded plastic human heart.

  1. Gorgeous contrast, composition and purrrfectly speaking! Thank you!

  2. It is rather daunting to think that’s a toy human heart and is her very fave toy, though. Mews news! 😀

  3. The color’s not perfect, the actual heart is red, not pink (the picture was taken with a flash which may have washed it out some). The toy is meant to be a squeeze ball for relaxing and presumably lowering one’s blood pressure, given to me by another friend who had gotten it when she was at the hospital. The attraction for Triana though is its irregular shape which makes it bounce in wild directions when she tosses it. (Unfortunately the picture’s too big when printed out at the library to mail it as a card, though — Eve’s camera is a lot better than mine.)
